PC-020 - 2026 - Internal Product
Finished paintings, not blank canvases. The only digital menu board service where a real art director designs your wall every week - then an agent ships it, syncs it, and keeps it running.
01Overview
Most digital signage hands restaurant owners a blank canvas and a login. They design it once, it loops forever, and six months later nobody looks at it.
BoardBite flips the model entirely. Plants and Chairs designs a new board every Monday. The Hermes agent ships it. Kimi refines the copy and layout. Square POS keeps every price current. The service worker keeps the board running when Wi-Fi drops.
Our role: build the brand, design the interface, wire up the agent pipeline, and ship the product end to end.
Two real pitch portals built for two real restaurants. Tap through the dayparts. The board you see is what goes on the wall.
6 AM cafe / 11 AM lunch / 5 PM dinner pizza / 9 PM wine hour - automatic rotation, Square-synced
7 AM breakfast / 11 AM full menu / Taco Tuesday override / 4 PM margarita hour - brand kit from PC-008
The board on the wall is not a static file someone uploaded. It runs on a pipeline: an art director calls the brief, Kimi refines the layout and copy, Hermes builds and delivers the board, Square keeps the prices live. No human touches it again until next Monday.
Every Monday, Plants and Chairs sets the art direction: the layout concept, the feature item, the daypart structure. This is the only human touch point in the delivery cycle.
Kimi reads the brief and the restaurant's brand kit. It refines the copy, tightens the hierarchy, flags anything that conflicts with the daypart logic or the 86'd items from Square.
Hermes takes the refined layout and builds the board file. It runs the delivery queue, pushes to the Pi, and confirms the board is live before marking the task complete.
Square POS sync runs continuously. When an item is 86'd at the register, the board strikes it through within seconds. Service worker cache keeps the board running through any Wi-Fi drop.
